What's the difference between 2x6 strips and 4x6 prints?

2x6 strips 4x6 prints 2x6 strips - the classic photo booth strip. Tall and narrow, with your photos stacked top to bottom. Easy to slip into a wallet or a guest book. 4x6 prints - postcard size. More room for bigger photos, your logo or names and date. Great for framing or the fridge. Every guest in the photo gets their own print. Essential and Classic packages print 2x6 strips. Add 4x6 prints for $49, or get them included with the Complete package.

How much space do you need?

About 10 x 10 ft of floor space and a ceiling of at least 8 ft, so most living rooms, basements and halls work. Tighter space? We can often make a smaller setup work - just let us know when you book.

Do you need power?

We prefer a standard outlet within 25 ft of the booth. No outlet nearby? We bring our own battery power stations and can run without one - just tell us ahead of time.

Can the booth go outside?

Yes. Contact us before you book so we can plan for weather, cover and power.

Is an attendant included?

Always. They set up, run the booth, keep the props tidy and pack up.

Why isn't my booking confirmed right away?

Accepted Answer

Every request is reviewed by our team before we confirm. We book a lot of events, and we check each date against our staff and equipment schedule so everything is ready for your day. We confirm within 24 hours, usually within a few. Until then, your card is only held, never charged.

Question 8

How does the deposit work?

When you request your date, we put a hold on your card for 25% of your total - you're not charged yet. We confirm within 24 hours. Once we confirm, the deposit is charged and your date is locked in. If we can't make it work, the hold is released and you pay nothing. Events within 14 days are held in full the same way.

What happens to the hold if you can’t do my date?

It is released and you are charged nothing. Depending on your bank, the pending amount can take a few business days to disappear from your statement.

What if I need to cancel?

Accepted Answer

Your deposit isn't refundable, because we hold your date just for you. If you've paid more than the deposit and need to cancel: 60 or more days before your event, we refund part of what you've paid beyond the deposit. 30 to 59 days before, a partial refund is at our discretion. Less than 30 days before, we can't offer a refund. Need a different date instead? You can reschedule once, subject to availability.

How much are photo keychains and bookmarks?

Can I change my package after booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Contact us and we'll update your booking, subject to availability. Deposits are non-refundable.

Do you travel outside Winnipeg?

Accepted Answer

Yes, across Manitoba. Travel is free in Winnipeg and nearby communities just outside the city. Further out, your travel fee is calculated at checkout from your event's town, before you pay. See our service area.

How do guests get their photos?

Accepted Answer

At most venues, guests get their photos by text, email or QR code within seconds. That just needs cell reception or Wi-Fi at the venue. If there's no signal, photos are sent at the end of the night or the next day. Every photo from your event also goes into your online gallery, ready within 24 to 48 hours.

Can we pick the photo design?

Yes. With Essential and Classic, you choose from our designs, personalised with names, date and colours. Complete includes a fully custom-designed template and welcome screen.

Can we add our company logo?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on every package. Your logo goes on the print template and the welcome screen.

Can you invoice our company?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose "Company event" when you book, then "Invoice", and we'll email your company an invoice when we confirm your date. The deposit is due on receipt. We hold your date for 48 hours while you arrange payment.

Is it good for kids' parties?

Yes. Your attendant runs the booth the whole time, and our props work for all ages.

Do you do weddings?

When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. Any difference between estimated town travel and the final venue-address travel is added to or deducted from the balance.

Yes. Prices shown are before tax. GST is added at checkout.

When do you set up?

We normally arrive about an hour before the booth opens. Earlier set-up is available for $29 per additional 30 minutes.
